>>48200105League was piss easy (first time, forgot about the rematch).
A bunch of OCs running some competent strats like Rain Dance + Surf/Thunder
OU Meta Snorlax, Blissey, Scizor, some random mon with crazy movesets, toxic-stall.
After I beat them I went to mount silver and beat the shit out of Crystal (highest pokemon level 81, all my mon 74-77)
Then I remembered the rematch and went to go challenge them, thinking they would scale under, crystal, but still be a challenge like the vanilla game, I was wrong.
First off, the 2nd time around, items are disabled after entering the elite four, that put higher restrictions than expected (didn't use em the first run through, but I wish I could have used items as I saw the scaling)
Second, the first challenge was levels 64-75
And most of my mon were ~76 to start after the last gym and crystal
2nd time around, first member was 68-72, second member 72-78, third member 79-84, 4th member 84-88, and then the champ was all 90s with a 91 Skarmory
made it through to the 4th member without a loss despite being underleveled(lv77), until somehow his Heracross survived a flamethrower from my max EV + 26 Special IV Rapidash with 1 HP
So without Rapidash for the champion, his Scizor that ran a sub-swords set was a burden
so I won the championish with only my Slowking and Clefable surviving the Scizor and then dunking on his skarmory
Honestly if I knew the level cap of the rematch and would have grinded to ~85 to be in range of the champion's mon by the end, I could have one. The level gap fucked me in having Heracross fuck my Rapidash, giving me little options again Scizor.
