The only reason there is a "metagame" in which a single pokémon is used in over A THIRD OF ALL FUCKING TEAMS is because children on smogon forums go "these are the pokémon you should now use too much" and lemming faggots go "hmmmmmokay! durr"
Donphan with EQ an headsmash easily tanks and oneshots Aegislash, Talonflame, Klefki (also he's immune to thunder wave and can spin away the hazards) and Tyranitar. He can take a water attack or ice beam with sturdy and oneshot any offensive Greninja with one single EQ. Also, ice shard 4x easily revenge kills Garchomp, Dragonite, Noivern and Gliscor.
So here's pokemon that takes dumps all over the shitmons smogon tells you to use, and i've only seen ONE OTHER PERSON who ran him in competative in gen 6 because he can no longer set up stealth rock.
I love smogon. It makes predicting what bads are gonna bring so fucking easy it's hilarious.
