Always was and always will be.
Used to play this when I was a child. Have probably like 600 hours total into the game.
I have played other pokemon games, but none were quite like this one. The atmosphere, the characters, the music... perfection.
I could be biased though, because this was the first pokemon game I ever owned, and Sinnoh is my favorite region of them all. Still, i have tried looking at it objectively, and have come to the conclusion that this really was the best generation in the franchise. Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl was the peak of pokemon.
And to think there were people who hated it months before it was released.
