Rate my team, give advice, call me a fag, whatever you wanna do. advice would be appreciated tho. i will give reasons behind my movesets and stuff, but this team is new and I'm fairly new to the battling scene, so I'm trying to improve on what i have. I've tested it on showdown for a day or so and i went from 1k to somewhere around 1350 or so.
Diancie @ Assault Vest
Ability: Clear Body
EVs: 200 HP / 56 Atk / 252 SpA
Quiet Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Moonblast
- Psychic
- Gyro Ball
- Diamond Storm
Diancie's base defenses are fairly high, so I figured I'd just slap an assault vest on it and go nuts with offense.
Manaphy @ Life Orb
Ability: Hydration
EVs: 252 SpA / 252 Spe
Timid Nature
- Tail Glow
- Energy Ball
- Scald
- Psychic
Manaphy is just here to sweep and provide some coverage. the Timid nature also helps to outspeed things like Mega Pinsir which seem to pose a problem for my team if I somehow can't manage to set up my rocks and keep them there. Also, the life orb is good for added damage, but sometimes i wonder if i should just run some other item due to the hp loss
Hawlucha @ Power Herb
Ability: Unburden
EVs: 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Adamant Nature
- Sky Attack
- Quick Guard
- Acrobatics
- High Jump Kick
The broom. Power herb sky attack hits like a bus.
Ferrothorn @ Rocky Helmet
Ability: Iron Barbs
EVs: 56 HP / 196 Atk / 252 SpD
Brave Nature
IVs: 0 Spe
- Thunder Wave
- Stealth Rock
- Gyro Ball
- Knock Off
The EV spread made sense to me when I made this in the showdown teambuilder but now it just looks weird.
Blastoise @ Blastoisinite
Ability: Torrent
EVs: 208 Def / 100 SpA / 200 SpD
Modest Nature
- Rapid Spin
- Aura Sphere
- Dark Pulse
- Water Pulse
Spins things
Garchomp @ Choice Scarf
Ability: Rough Skin
EVs: 4 HP / 252 Atk / 252 Spe
Jolly Nature
- Dragon Claw
- Earthquake
- Fire Fang
- Iron Head
FF for steel.
Yes, I'm aware of my lack of ice coverage and priority, and I'm trying to figure out a way to incorporate that without dismantling the team entirely.
