Reminder that it takes the exact same time to go to the 2nd gym between DP and BDSP (which story wise are the exact same game). So if the gen 4 engine is slow then so is the gen 8 engine.
But you never hear anyone complain about the gen 8 engine. Why? Because, again, it's all nocebo effect. There's no meme about pretending gen 8 is slow so people don't call feel like it's slow. They don't have that idea already in their mind when they play it, so their confirmation bias doesn't kick in.
