I was a kid at the time, spending yet another summer inside. My father was a computer engineer and thus our house was full of miscellaneous electrical parts. I was home alone on my computer when the screen went out and wouldn't come back on. I decided to go outside and check if something had happened to the power lines, when I saw something that looked like a mass of wires, only it was running towards the house. It stretched one of its wires into the ground and stopped moving. After a couple of minutes, it got up and extended out an appendage towards me, which I took as a handshake and grabbed. I then rushed back inside and grabbed a pokeball, hoping I could capture it. To my surprise, it went straight into the ball without putting up a fight. Ever since then, he's been by my side as a fighter and as a friend.
