>>41411548For Horse, they don't necessarily have to do horse Pokemon. They can do something within the equine family, like a fire zebra, or do a horse hybrid with a deer or a gazelle.
As for breaking the pattern, they could loop back and use the same zodiacs, but have completely different take on "dragon, rooster, monkey, etc." For dragon, Id love to see a Komodo dragon based mon, and maybe for rooster have another flightless bird like a kiwi.
Jaguar for Tiger.
An actual rat for rat.
Etc. Etc.
