>>46402651>>46402863You both are right and wrong. 銀 is indeed the kanji for silver, and it's part of ginga (galaxy), as in "team galaxy", when you combine it with 河, the kanji for river, while platinum uses 金 (the kanji for gold) after 白, kanji for brightness or whiteness, not 銀.
In japanese a galaxy is a silver river (銀河), while the platinum is the fair gold (白金).
