While this theory is interesting, I would like to point it out it's wrong, in many ways. For one, he hasn't "aged". He looks exactly the same, with white hair. And that white hair could not be from aging. It's too symmetrical and graying doesn't start from sides. It's usually the middle that's first.

And his personality is still the same. He still takes his accepts his loss gracefully. He isn't bitching about how he should've won. He is just disappointed a bit, but quickly moves on. That's how he always was, but now, with SM, he can just show a lot more emotions.

He really is just a weeb who dyed his hair. Nothing points to him actually being in debt.

No one needs those. The last Sinnoh game was only 8 years ago, and I don't see how a remake can improve it enough to compel people to buy it again.

Again, no need for those, either. The only thing this can feature is the return of Cyrus, and he doesn't even need a return.
Plus, if it is a sequel, they'll have decide on a canon protagonist to make him/her the Champion. Not something I can see GF doing outside of Kanto/Johto, since Ethan is pretty much already canon.

So, yeah, there won't be any Sinnoh remakes for a good while.
