Tomorrow's my mom's birthday and she's currently really bummed out because she can't play go on her phone. I know next to nothing about phones, the only thing I own is an old-as-fuck Iphone that I mostly use for work...and I don't really play anything on it. I'm a complete normie when it comes to phones, I don't even know what an .apk file is or whatever.
She has a pretty weird phone, I've never seen anything like it...I think it's called "fire phone" or something, it's from Amazon...they say online that it's pretty shit but she got it for free and she's in love with it.
I checked the appstore thing and it's not there...I followed a guide I found online and downloaded the .apk...and now the game's icon is on the menu, which hopefully means I'm on the right track.
But when I try to enter the thing, the message "No gps signal" comes along, and I can't sign in via google. I've seen possible fixes for this, but they're usually for android devices, not this weird thing
You guys think you can an anon out? It'd mean a lot to her. Is the game playable on this or should I just give up?
