Still, that IS the equivalent of stealing something, and then going out to buy a separate copy of it so you don't feel as bad. While still keeping the original you stole in the first place (unless you deleted it or something, I don't know).
I don't even really care if people pirated the games early. Let them have fun, I say, even if it is technically stealing. I just can't stand people who pirate it, then rave loudly about everything in the game to the dismay of the rest of us who don't want to download some crappy software to play an ultimately inferior version of a game that's literally less than two weeks away from actual release. And then act like WE'RE the scum for not pirating it early like they did.
