That's the thing, people want to have their cake and eat it too. Clover is a game where the devs were just fucking around until "akshually Clover is a deep, thrilling story that really made me rethink life". Clover is a ton of fun and super difficult until someone points out the fact a lot of opponents very unfairly have max EV/IV smogon teams then it's time to scream git gud.
You just can't have a conversation with anybody who worships the game because they engage in the worst fucking form of doublethink like the retard above (or make it sound like they've not even played the game), and the extreme detractors aren't much better
