Let me break it down

I wasn't equating seeing on a TV to using it in game, my man, of course it doesn't carry the same weight. I was just rebuking that fact that he said Luvdisc is gone from the franchise, and that its liable to even return in the games if it will. If he had exclusively said "I'm upset that Luvdisc is not usable in Galar", I would've been perfectly fine, because I am too. No Pokemon should be left out of any game. But Luvdisc still exists. And nothing's gonna change that short of a full-on retcon by GF.
