Literally, how hard would it have been to recreate the Battle Frontier outside of the 3D models for the buildings? Other than that, they could have copy-pasted the EXACT format of the Battle Frontier from Emerald (same rentals, NPC Pokemon etc.) and it would have taken them what, an extra 2 months of dev time maybe? But no, they just HAD to get the games released for le holiday season xD
I know this phrase gets overused, but we were ACTUALLY robbed with ORAS.
