A rebellious young lady, Pheobe, was quick to leave the warm embrace of her grandparents and move to kanto. When she got there she naturally gravitated towards Lavender Town and the Pokemon tower. She spent most of her time communicating with spirits and raising her ghost type pokemon. When the tower was simultaneously infiltrated by team rocket and Marowak's ghost, she attempted to quell the spirit but it wiped out her team. She decided to take refugee on the healing square and watched as Red saved the tower. This inspired her to move back to Hoenn and train harder, leading to her becoming a member of the Elite Four.
