>>33391444>TotT: >Do you recommend musicNo, I find that a bit overbearing. Why should a writer tell people how to read their work? While it might enhance an experience for some, not everyone appreciates the same music. The most I've done, but haven't in a long time, was include certain song lyrics that I feel fit a certain a piece. Now I find that a bit cheesy.
I would say I am pretty influenced by music as a whole. My pen-name, series title, and a few chapter titles are small references to songs I enjoy. I have plenty of music I consider 'tied' to my work, simply because I find similarities in songs and am often reminded of certain scenes when I listen to them. I won't subject anyone to my bland, casual taste in music if I can help it.
>Do you listen to music yourselfYes. I tend to just listen to my entire music library on shuffle, or if I'm trying to get the drive going for a certain specific scene, I'll find a song that reminds me of the feeling I'm going for.
