Spin-offs are and have always been the best the franchise has to offer.

Those games have incredible soul and atmosphere to them, and offer good stories mixed with great, innovative gameplay and immersive experiences. Spin-offs explore the world and it's potential a thousand time more than what mainline has ever done.

And that's exactly what Stadium and Battle Revolution were for.
Don't even get me started on Gale of Darkness.
Mainline is complete soulless low-effort corporate garbage next to them and even the best mainline game pales in comparison to the worst spin-off.
