Every other remake in the series brought the generation being remade up to the graphical level of the current generation. Everyone expected the same for BDSP and it went in a completely opposite direction and people are rightfully upset. People wanted Sinnoh remakes, just not like this.
Also why are people pretended people hated games like ORAS for the graphics? People hated ORAS because of the handholding, forced gift Pokemon, Zinnia, the Battle Frontier Project. If ORAS had the same level of faithfulness as HGSS, where it takes everything from the third version and expands upon it, no one would have had an issue with the game.
