Terapagos is an obvious terraforming Pokémon, we have two unreleased items that likely power up Koraidon/Miraidon, and somehow they connect to their abilities. The orange crystals are easily ‘Orichalcum’, but the purple stone with weird glowy bits made no sense… until you bring the ‘occult’ connection into the game, with the natural material known as Lodestone.
Chinese and Olmec cultures used this in religious, or ‘occult’, practices to try and divine locations, though eventually it grew into our understanding of magnetism. Magnetite is a natural form of iron that can be magnetized into lodestone, but it is not steel because it is not processed the same way; theoretically this explains why despite being seemingly robotic because of being made of this ‘Iron’ material, their build would be entirely different from actual Iron or processed steel, allowing this weird ability to be various typings.
