IIT: Stories pertaining to you, little kids, and Pokemon.
This just happened to me this morning at the doctor's office.
>Going to be an hour wait for X-ray since the place is walk in only.
>Play Pokemon X while I wait and battle random trainers in the Battle Chateau
>A kid comes in with his mom
>He spots me and my 3DS, and proceeds to cautiously see what I'm playing
>He asks "Hey, is that Pokemon?"
>I say "Yeah, wanna finish this battle for me?"
>He gets excited and kills a Carnivine with Delphox's Flamethrower.
>Afterwards we begin to talk and I find out he only has Pokemon Pearl and he's stuck on Fantina
>He asks to see my party
>"Oh wow! You got two legends in your party!"
>wat.
>Only have one, Xerneas
>He calls Delphox a Legendary.
>I ignore it and show him the Pokemon in the PC
>He gets excited again
>He points to obvious Ice types like Cryogonal and Glalie and calls them water types and calls psychic types "Star" types
>I keep quiet and get back to battling
>Battle a Riolu
>"Oh oh! A Riolu! I know what his evolution is! Lucario!"
>He then explains he has the Mega Lucario EX card from the TCG
>"Ah, so you haven't seen him in the actual game then?"
>I take Lucario out of the PC and allow him to Mega-evolve him.
>Kid is very excited
>"Wow that's so awesome!"
>I proceed to show him some of the other Megas until I'm called in for my X-rays.
>When I'm done, he's still there.
>I stay until his name is called and say good bye afterwards.
Some of the stuff he said made me cringe, but it made what would have been a boring day a delight.
