this was by far the worst part of this already fucking terrible game
it is actually a shame to say this given e11's content was actually, in retrospect, not that bad and actually pretty manageable'
this on the other part feels like a devolving that has been steadily going on since ep3 or 4 or so kicked into overdrive, where all of this game's usual vices - sloppy writing, terrible and overly NPC dialogue about literal nonsense, horrific field effects, confusing and annoying mapping, shitty no heal gauntlets that try to deprive you as many resources as possible, fights that don't feel hard as they do frustrating - were exaggerated so much to the point it was nearly unplayable
aspects of this game i didn't feel were ridiculously bad - the overarching plot, for one - shifted into that territory this episode. things like side content or building some cool strategies with the new modified mons seemed to just fall by the wayside or were ultimately too frustrating to complete because of shit like the god fucking awful field effect used this time. last time i made sure to do all the side shit in flegetont since i actually kind of enjoyed it. not here.
there's not much to say other than again, if this game goes down its current pace i can see it easily landing below sors or soulstones (i don't think it'll ever be as bad as virtualization). there desperately needs to be more quality control, more time put into the episodes instead of turboshitting them out, less wanking of pointless convoluted bullshit that only the devs of this game seem to care about. i don't know if this game is 'fixable' but at least if there were more episodes like last time it'd push it into 'tolerable' category. just not more garbage like this. please. for the love of the author.
i said it was 3, bordering on 2 last time. now it's definitely a 2 and bordering on a 1. i'd still just shift it under vanguard though kek, full moon quality is a bit of a ways off still (but not too far off)
