Incoming dub ratings:

These ratings are integral to indicating just how many kids still give a shit about Pokemon in the west enough to watch it every Saturday morning.
>Pokemon Mega Special: 1.058M viewers
>XY020 (June 7 - Chateau episode) - 0.946 mil
Previous XY episodes were able to hold up at least a 1.0-1.2 rating. XY020 is the first episode to have gone under 1.0, I predict it'll continue dipping by the end of the year.
In comparison, nearly every BW episode trumped these episodes ratings-wise. It only ever became a competition near the end of BW's run, and even then, most of those episodes still garnered better ratings than anything XY has delivered.
The question remains: Why does XY continue to fail in the west? You can say that the USA has shit taste, but how true is that when good handful of us here are american? Why does the show fail here but succeed over there? Keep in mind that CN's Saturday morning programming is now the only "toyetic action" block alive with the cancellation of Vortexx, so network competition is not necessarily a viable answer.
I will continue to post ratings for comparison purposes.
