The first Delta Species cards came out for Japan in October 2005 with the half-decks on the 7th, the Meiji chocolate promo in the middle of the month, and finally Holon Research Tower on the 28th. English would get EX Delta Species on the 31st of that very month, but for some reason, swapped places with EX Legend Maker, which got delayed to February 2006.
The chocolate promo had Delta Lightning Mewtwo and Delta Fire Rayquaza which were added to English's EX Holon Phantoms and Delta Metal Pikachu which went to EX Legend Maker as the set's only Delta Species.
