Been doing a run where I leave the EXP Share on, but can't evolve my team to compensate. I've done this once in OR and once in X, so I decided to do a randomized X run this time. My team is pretty shit and I love it.
The surprising MVP for me so far has been Lola the Nidoran. Ramos had a Sharpedo who, even after suffering an Intimidate from my Shinx, could still 2HKO my whole team with Crunch. I was only able to win because Lola previously set up two layers of Toxic Spikes, and I was able to stall with Meowth's Fake Outs. Then she was the only one who could even dream about taking on his Aromatisse with Moonblast. I'd probably have been dead without her.
You don't get as crazy overlevelled in XY as you do in ORAS, so some of these battles are proving to be a pretty good challenge. If I lose just one member at this point, it could be my downfall.
