>>53591489Autists don't all act the same, but it sounds like she has a lot more going on of it's not just the 'tism. Maybe some sort of bipolar disorder or something. Definitely sounds like some kind of mental illness to me. Still, a bummer you gotta deal with someone like that. I've got such a low tolerance for bullshit as I've gotten older so I avoid people I don't want to associate with like the plague, so it stopped being a problem for me a while ago, but it's a double edged sword because I don't have a lot of friends kek
>>53590764Yes, crazies are definitely a problem that the fujo and yume communities both have. Some of the most unpleasant people I ever interacted with were fujoshi, but I would probably never talk to most other yumes (outside of these threads anyways) considering the previously mentioned cringe Western fans being almost narcissistic about others approving of their self-inserts/OCs to boost their poor self-esteem. I'm of the opinion that it should be something shared amongst friends who would like/are prepared mentally to hear about it and not posted in public spaces on the internet where total strangers can see it when they might never want to, ever. I can get pretty autismo with my OCs and shipping them with canon characters but I keep that shit on a short leash specifically because I know it's wrong to spread it around everywhere since it gets very annoying very fast. It's like seeing a total stranger looped around the arm of your man while out and about the town, so who the hell wants to see that? Self-awareness is important, I think. I still share some bits of my OCs in some places but I don't mention any of the shipping because I can still separate them from that stuff and flesh them out otherwise.
