I love devamps, especially ones as great as in OP. I personally believe people don't like the new Pokemon (some people I mean) because of the new art style and how it is absolutely different than the water-colored washout look the Pokemon used to have, which I love. If someone drew all the new Pokemon in that art style, I'm pretty sure people would like them. Also, having them in old-sprite-form helps a lot.
