>>57401884See, that all sounds like things I should like too, at least in a vacuum. I don't like world-ending plots and pokemon in particular handles them terribly. The problem I had was that it came after a filler-heavy back half of season 1, and that it put the show's actual story progression on the backburner for several months. The show also seemed to be based around the novelty of *not* conforming to the gym-hopping formula, which just made it come off as padding to me.
