Gone are things like the weekly 1 coin box, guaranteed legendaries from pvp and weekly research breakthrough and so on. They've introduced monthly battle pass-like research tickets which include shit that used to be free. And now niantrash is busy making everyone look like a body horror.
They want you to become a slave to routes so that a few years from now you may change Zygarde into complete form
No annoying bugs at all have ever been fixed (for instance the gym team swap glitch), but they've been extremely efficient at fixing things which benefit the player
They even had the nerve to attempt to nerf shiny rates for remote raids ONLY (the lake trio incident), but got caught red-handed by based Japanese autists collecting data.
There's a lot more to this fucking disgusting piece of shit company and game, but the bottom line is, either you take it extremely casually or you spoof. Jumping through hoops to legitimately strive to be the very best makes you feel like the ultimate cattle.
