there was some glitch if you tried to use fly before doing the intro cutscene but it starts working when you get to pallet and do the intro. I went through seafoam islands -> cinnabar -> pallet then finally did the cutscene and could fly no problem after that. also got to make the rival choose venusaur against charizard kek. and used poke doll glitch for the ghost.
