The eevee raid is now saved over with the backup save which is 3 seeds away from the shiny. I can still reset for an Eevee, and I definitely will at some point. The backup trick is honestly pretty amazing.
Here's diagram I made trying to explain a bit what you're doing with the skip method. Have fun trying to decipher it. It's best saved for when you know you're close to the shiny seed. For example, if the Shiny seed is 6 in the diagram, you'd start doing this and do it 3 times to get the shiny seed to be the same as your first random slot.
