I go second aiming for a turn 1 Water Duplicates with Wally and then try to evolve as fast as possible.
Just checked and my win rate is actually about 85%, 96 wins out of 120 games but about 7 were me accidentaly pressing the "Test Deck" button and then conceding, that shit should count.
Also 120 might also not be a really representative amount of games.
