Didn't have a lot of time to play the last couple days and I didn't want to spend all the time grinding up the two new guys until yesterday.
Skyla was only slightly more scary than I imagined. Branches and Stella didn't make an appearance during the fight because I felt they were too weak to her core team, and I was tired of waiting so Narnia held the EXP share and held the furthest of the back lines.
Brahsmosis set up a light screen and switched out while her swoobat spent some time forgetting who he was with amnesia. Terroir switched in and took out Swoobat and Unfezeant without any problems and minimal damage. Have I mentioned how much Stoutland has surprised me? Solid body + intimidate is nothing but good times. Anyway, thats when her fucking Swanna showed up. The bird started the fight with an Aquaring and Terroir gets critical crunch but doesn't get the kill. She throws her first hyperpotion and I crunch again hoping for either another crit or a def drop. I get neither. Swanna then locks Terroir down by flinching me until he gets his HP back up near 100%, takes one hit and pretty much does it again. I spray a potion on the pup and then take a crit which is only slightly more than the super potion healed back, but still makes me feel like I have a clock on the match. After being fucked hard and raw, I decide the hax has to end one way or another and think about the risk of switching in Sumoppet or if I should bring him in clean after a sacrifice. I went with the risk, and he cleaned up with a Body Slam with paralysis, and then a couple more turns to clean up.
Twist mountain went well, caught a Boldore which doesn't really excite me. Brycen was rolled by Sumoppet. Might check out the other catches in the area or I might head to bed.
