Its just such a long and preposterous grind for a simple color change. I like that shinyness is a thing, I just hate how disgustingly rare it is. It should be like 1/100 or so. Rare enough to be rewarding but not so dick kickingly rare that you have to spend literal weeks or even months hunting for it. Its just a simple color change. I could see if they had guaranteed 6 perfect ivs, or different better moves, or slightly better stats but its just a completely superficial color change that affects nothing else. To me thats just not worth the amount of precious life people (imo) waste on them. If it is for you then thats cool. I wont denigrate you for it. I just look at shiny hunter posters with a weird mix of like pity, confusion and something resembling admiration. Like what did you say? Four phases? Isnt each phase like 10,000 encounters or something? I just cant get my head around that. If you really like the different colors you can just bam click a button or glitch to get those colors. It looks just as cool. Idk. I just don't get it. But like I said keep doing you man.
