The trouble is dragon was power creeped.
Instead of being smart and having the pseudo legendary jump around, it has been a dragon, 8 times out of a total 10 (metagross and tyranitar).
Add that to the roster that kept increasing of Dragon type legendaries. It is their own fucking fault dragon was a problem, stupidly high stat pokemon thats only counter was their own burger king kids club. So they had to make an entire type to attempt to fix their problem they fucking made.
So in order to dethrone dragon, a strong type with only 2 weaknesses, they created Fairy type, a strong type with only 2 weaknesses,
Gee I wonder why I don't like fairy type...

gen 6, it could be argued gen 5 but it was definitely an experiment with how they went all unova only mons, was kinda neat, but we see they ran back with their tail between their legs real soon with BW2...
but gen6 always, the focus of xy was megas, and a story that has nothing to do with the character and had many bland characters... and bare bones character customization. Then ORAS, as much as i like gen 3 this was a bad remake... but still had PSS. and megas we were hoping was going to be a staple, but they weren't making megas for pokemon that needed it, just popular mons that didn't need them AGAIN! lets go pee pee is self explanatory. I just can't understand any logic behind getting rid of things instead of innovating on them to make 1 perfect system.
