My 3ds is the mirror love plus manaka edition I get compliments from "gamers" on it all the time
Normie-tier people probably don't even realize it's a 3ds
I play with the sound off and no headphones
IMO headphones are more autistic than a Gameboy or obscure Japan only handheld
I can lookup from the screen anytime and have a Normal conversation
Pokemon is nice because spending time with your attention away from the screen doesn't come at a cost & the series doesn't penalize you whatsoever (for the most part)
