I was mainly looking for alpha versions of all the starters and it all went downhill when I ran into a shiny Dartrix and encountered a shiny Dewott and shiny Decidueye shortly after. Now I'm trying to get shinies for all the Hisuian starters. Currently trying to get a shiny Oshawott. Haven't had much luck with shinies for the Cyndaquil line sadly.
I also like that evolved forms appear. Felt nice escaping peat block hell when I got an Ursaluna horde. Sadly it's also a bit of a double edged sword. Had a situation where I wanted an alpha Rowlet but an alpha Dartrix appeared instead. Also neat that Spiritomb and Unown have outbreaks now.
I don't think I'll get to the Arceus tower for a while. The new Ingo battles were nice at least. Fuck that alpha battle though. Still haven't touched the paths of solitude either.
All in all, great freelc. I kinda miss the old shiny hunting method though. I really wish I got a shiny Piplup before the update since it's been a huge pain in the ass to find post-update.
