This is so damned infuriating. Misty had togepi but that's just becuase it thought of her as it's mother. And just because brock ran a rock gym he never stated he wanted to exclusively train rock types. Same goes with cilian and grass types. I know most people would see this as a small nitpick but it really bothered me.
