Well, I beat my checkpoint and it took the death of my three best team members to do it. Funny enough, they died in the three possible ways to die in a nuzlocke.
Gyarados died because Drayano gave Burgh
Sash + Counter Parasect.Pignite died because I was dumb enough to think it would OHKO Rotom.
Pidgeotto died because it got crit by Donphan's Ice Shard.
I have some new team members I'm going to train up before fighting any trainers. Ground types are pretty neat but I'm not gonna get cocky against Elesa. No way.

>>36634887The grinding isn't that bad because it's a sololocke and it takes all the EXP (though if it's a really bad shitmon you might have to grind it anyway). I think people like it for the memes. Like it's really cool to beat the E4 with a Luvdisc even if it is Level 100 with Double Team and 30 X Specials.
