I get that Pokémon Home friend trade is local only to curb hack-sellers and push down abuse. I’m aware that Room Trade needs at least three people in them to curb back abuse. What saddens me about Home is that all the kinks have been worked out and I cant directly trade with my friends from far away. It’s gotta be within games. I’ve never had any of the alleged issues that Home has had (even on release day) but I would like the ability to trade directly with friends on Home without needing to be in the same location GPS-wise AND still need their friend code. The friend code requirement for local friend trade seems a bit redundant.
