The player is suppose to come up to talk to them and depending on how many badges you own they'll let you in or push you out the way, You have an option to fight them with the help of a Police officer in a double battle before realizing they were part of "that" mafia group and hightails it out of there.
You go though a bunch of alleyways like in Kalos (You can only access the gym at night) some paths are illuminated by the windows of buildings and shops, going down the wrong path can lead you into battles, mostly triples and doubles, You go though peoples homes for shortcuts, They yell at you for breaking and entering (they're all in on it) In some areas you might get asked questions for items to help you heal your Pokemon. (You'll fight Street thugs, Rockers, Punk girls, Hex maniacs..) (you get some idea on their team composition. And the fact that they can utilize inverse battling before actually fighting them)
From the alleyway you come to a clearing of buildings, on the horizon a big mansion, coming from the rear. Depending on what game you got You'll either face off against husband (Dracul, I spelt his name wrong this long i hate this) or the Wife (Braeden)
As you enter from the rear you're all alone before the lights turn off, Delinquents, Street thugs steal some of your key items, if you have a mega stone that they can use, they'll use it in battle or a Z stone, mostly anything that'll require you to use a gimmick in a fight
When you lose, you don't black out you just get kicked out and you cant return until the next night cycle, and it's part of your personal mission to get your key items back, items in general.
