Sun and Moon continues to astound me. Only four episodes before this one, Ash literally chimped out and acted like an autistic grade schooler by jumping around the class and talking to people like a monkey. In this episode, they dive pretty deeply into the workings of the Pokemon Center, which work as hotels and places to raise larger Pokemon (and the anime's done this much since the Charmander episode in OS, if not earlier than that). The main conflict is basically undergoing the Pokemon equivalent to unblocking a compacted bowel on a Garbordor, Also Ash crossdressed, which is a recurring thing in each season besides XY. Both episodes, by the way, were written by the same screenplay writer: Juni'ichi Fujisaku. So it's not a matter of unbalanced writing skills here.
With that, Lana, Mallow, Lillie and Ash join Misty, May and Serena in the tier of Pokegirls to dress up as Nurse Joy. I wonder if Liko will join them at some point; I could see her stealing Mollie's fashion sense at some point to help her in the Brave Asagi's clinic.
Also, it's implied in the ending photo-montage that someone (probably Lana, let's be honest) flips up Ash's skirt when he's in the Joy outfit and Rotomdex takes a picture of it. Come on guys. It's all fun and games until your friend accuses you of sexual harassment.
