The only thing hypno is good at (same with drowzee) is vacuuming pokeballs and making room in bag. Wasted 30 pokeballs on one the other night. I refuse to waste candies or great balls on it, jynx gets mad when I do that to it as well.
When I'm by the water I do the same thing, voltorbs, magnemites, psyducks, krabbys, horseas, goldeens and staryu only get pokeballs if they're under 500CP, if they're 600 or under I may throw them a berry or if I'm in a rush catch them with a great ball.
