>>39143999I'm a mixed bag of opinions with gen VII but unironically that last encounter with an exhausted Necrozma in Mt Lanakila, the ub's worlds, the totem fights and the last island trial felt oddly nostalgically refreshing because there's a balance with classic pokemon tropes and the over the top sci-fi of later games. The RR part though, for which I couldn't care less, was just blatant nostalgia prostitution, that's not the way to look at the past in order to progress.
