Which means that yes, there is a non-zero chance that Game Freak goes full retard and doesn't update the games with the National Pokedex once bank comes out. Hell you can get things like the Johto Starters through Island Scan and they have NO Gen 7 Pokedex entries.
Will this change when Bank comes out? Almost certainly. Should it have been included from the start? Definitely yes.
