>>46307499As a self-respecting consumer I can not and will not defend a guy who sides with the laziness and mediocrity of GameFreak instead of the demands of the consumers.
Since his income depends on GameFreak's products being popular, he is at worst a paid shill and at best, an unpaid shill.
These years he has to work extra hard to cover GameFreak's ass because these ridiculously mediocre devs are absolutely incapable of keeping up with the industry. Yet they still swim in pools of money, while Joe has to do the dirty job keeping the spirits up in the dedicated community. This is his problem, not ours. I want people to know the games are shit so there is unanimous voice to fix them. I want devs to change, or at least change their strategy. What Joe does when diminishing our voice in order to keep expectations low and see each launch in a positive light is crippling this series' future, silencing our consumer preferences, promoting mediocrity, defending the indefensible. He should side with us and be the voice of the community, but paddling against TPC's decissions would cut his proximity to any official sources. Clearly he does it because he has no other option, but I don't care about him or his job. I want this hobby of mine to become actually enjoyable again. His shilling is blocking the way.
First we get rid of Joe, then we get rid of Ohmori, and we make the games great again.
