>>20211570It's true that Nintendo and the poor marketing tactics of the Wii U made the console generate losses for the company, but at least they learned from their stupidity and are trying to push it as hard as possible. The last E3 is proof of that with all the Wii U games that were announced.
However, Nintendo still have a shitload of money in the bank. Yes, they are on the down side right now, but it's barely even hitting them hard at all. Their worry comes simply more form it being a loss rather than a loss that could put the company in risk.
Nintendo already learned not to push a console spreading misinformation on its first reveal and making people think it's something additional to the previous console instead of a whole new one. They are to blame, but they are trying to patch it up.
Meanwhile, the 3DS is still shining bright and is making up big for what the Wii U lost. So it's not as bad as people think.
