I just beat Pokemon Vega (including sphere ruins) and while I didn't think it was bad, it's certainly not as good as people made it out to be, some of the fakemon where cool and total bros like pic related who got me through the whole game with Houndoom, but the level gaps and constant need for grinding alongside the poor trainer placing (most high level replayable trainers are fucking swimmers lmao) and unironic shit mon diversity early in the game (4 mons before first gym) made it a gigantic chore, still pretty cool you can't buy revives so those you find are nice rewards but still, also it's very repetitive when every NPC mon is just the same bruiser with100+ base OC moves with extreme coverage, also fuck you flamethrower Blastoise
