He has a lab that also contains an arena, and you have to battle 4 different Trainers before facing him.
Only one problem: He's set up this sort of Terrain effect that causes the floor to change color every single turn, each color corresponds to a certain Type, and moves of that Type are strengthened. And if a Pokemon is switched in, they take damage of that type in a similar vein to Stealth Rock.
