Contrary to Team Plasma's philosophy, Pokemon fighting each other is the most natural thing Pokemon can do. One of the reasons Pokemon naturally fight each other in the wild is because of the immense energy every single one of them has within them, they have to let it out. It's in their nature. In this perspective, humans orchestrating modern day Pokemon battles/competitions is actually a very humane way to let Pokemon unleash their energy in a safe environment (Pokemon Centers, healing tools) and grow into very strong and healthy creatures. Pokemon don't hold malice towards each other when they fight as battling is in their DNA and it is as basic and necessary to them as breathing and eating.
