>>40377026>>40377509These are both decent designs though. They aren't exciting, but they help flesh out the world. Their designs are inoffensive. Nothing about them feels goofy or out of place in Pokemon. They're just animals, and desu I'd take them over the modern trends of forcing every Pokemon to be a quirky mascot character instead of just an animal.
I think their strength is that the worst anyone can say about them is they just aren't super exciting, but there's plenty of other Pokemon in Gen 1 and in general that fill that "super exciting" role.
